Sharon earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from the Dalhousie in 2006, a Bachelor of Public Relations degree from Mount Saint Vincent University (1996) and a diploma in Community Services (1986).Before pursuing her law degree, Sharon spent over ten years in senior roles within the not-for-profit sector in the Atlantic Region managing corporate partnerships, community and individual donor relationships and media relations. Sharon was in private practice for a large regional firm, and practiced in the areas of medical defence, health law, estate litigation, Wills, estates, and trusts prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities.
Sharon is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Halifax Estate Planning Council. She currently serves on the Board of Governors of Mount Saint Vincent University and on the Canadian Bar Associations National Standing Committee for Equality. Sharon has volunteered with numerous charity and community organizations over the years. She chaired Mount Saint Vincents Project 2012 capital campaign Business and Tourism Committee and has served on Boards for many charities including Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic, Spina Bifida Association and Crime Stoppers Nova Scotia.

Financial Planning Specialist - Mary Ellen Isenor, CA, CFP
Mary received her Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University in 1988 and her Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Marys University in 1990. She is a Chartered Accountant and has completed and tutored the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course.
Mary Isenor is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management solutions for clients, including cash flow management, tax, retirement, insurance and estate planning. Prior to joining RBC, Mary was providing professional services to individuals and their owner-managed entities, specializing in tax planning. During her career, Mary has been employed by two of the large public accounting firms where she advised on the tax consequences of mergers, reorganizations along with estate and trust planning.
Marys role is to work with and support me in preparing and presenting comprehensive Compass Financial Plans for our high net worth clients.
Estate and Trust Advisor - Betony Rowland, J.D.
As an Estate and Trust Advisor, Betony Rowland serves clients throughout Atlantic Canada. Betony is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society and a graduate of the Dalhousie Schulich School of Law. Previously, Betony practiced law with a Nova Scotia law firm where she advised clients on Estate and Trust administration.
