There is Wealth in Community

Wealth refers to more than just one's finances. It also includes a sense of prosperity and well-being in the communities in which we live and work. Through the events we support and the organizations we partner with, we are helping our clients thrive and our communities prosper through our dedication to arts, youth, sports and sustainability.

Cambridge Chamber of Commerce:

Erica is proud to support the Chamber, an organization which acts as a voice of business providing feedback to all levels of government on behalf of members. The Chamber supports business prosperity through their dedication in providing unique services, opportunities and benefits to all members living and working in the community.

The Spectrum is a magazine published by the Chamber, which is the only Cambridge business publication. Erica writes a quarterly article for the magazine, in which she highlights different financial strategies, and educates people on the investment industry.

Erica has been awarded the Personal Business Achievement Award for 2010, as well as the Keith Taylor Memorial Award - which is awarded for Excellence in Community Contribution through leadership, ingenuity, creativity and service for a Non-Profit or Charitable Organization serving Cambridge.

Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation:

Erica was a former foundation board member.

She has volunteered as chair/co-chair for the Best Bites event for over 10 years. Best Bites is a partnership fundraiser which supports both the Cambridge Memorial Hospital and Rotary. The proceeds from the event are used to purchase essential medical equipment, as well as Expanded Mental Health Services. Through this event, the Rotary Club of Preston Hespeler is also able to provide fundraising for the Cambridge Food Bank, support the Grade 3 Literacy Program, offer ongoing stewardship of local parkland, as well as to give assistance to individuals and seniors facing health challenges in our community.

Rotary Club of Preston Hespeler:

The Club focuses as well on our local community and partners with The Foodbank, Cambridge Memorial Hospital and Kidsability to name just a few.

Internationally they support education and healthcare in disadvantaged communities. In recent years, they have been involved in work projects in rural Maasai in Tanzania, rural Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.

Erica has been a long time member, having held positions as president, past president, treasurer, fundraising chair and community service chair.
