Erica began her career with Dominion Securities after graduating from the University of Guelph in 1994 with her degree in Economics and certificate in Human Resources Management.
Erica has completed her Chartered Financial Planning designation (CFP), her Canadian Investment Management designation, her Partners, Directors and Officers course, her Options and Options Supervisory licenses, Level Two Estate Planning/Insurance, and Fellowship in the Canadian Securities Institute as of 1996.  Erica has always focused on a holistic approach to wealth management with her clients, and is continually upgrading her professional credentials.
Working in Cambridge, Erica enjoys building relationships with her clients and within the community where she lives.  Her creative, structured and enthusiastic business approach is the cornerstone of her commitment to her clients, which in turn builds strong long-term partnerships.
Away from the office, Erica enjoys travel, golf, theatre, and outdoor activities.  She is philanthropic and active in the Cambridge community.  Having served on many boards throughout the years, she is currently working with the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation and has held various chair positions for the Preston Hespeler Rotary Club.  Erica was awarded with the 2010 Personal Business Achievement award as well as the Keith Taylor Memorial award in 2014 from the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce recognizing her outstanding commitment to the Cambridge community.

Suzanne Schultz, CA, CFP 

Suzanne Schultz is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner with a specialty in tax and estate planning. As an Estate Planning Specialist for RBC, she uses her knowledge of corporate and personal tax to develop personalized insurance solutions to meet the needs of business owners, highly taxed investors, affluent families and other clients. Prior to joining RBC in 2006, Suzanne was the Associate Vice-President of the Tax and Estate Planning Group of one of Canadas leading multi-family office firms. She was

previously a Tax Manager at one of the largest professional services companies where she completed her CA designation with an honour roll placing, and completed the CICA In-depth tax course. She has taken numerous courses on tax and estate planning, including masters level courses on U.S. taxes.

Suzanne is the co-author of 78 Tax Tips for Canadians for Dummies, host of the HGTV series House Poor and has been a regular guest on the Business News Network. She has written articles and contributed towards publications for the Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star and Hamilton Spectator.

Suzannes areas of expertise include the use of insurance for personal and corporate tax planning, wealth preservation, financial planning, estate planning (including U.S. estate tax) and charitable giving.

Shannon Row-Ewing, B.A., LL.B

Will and Estate Consultant

Shannon worked in private practice for ten years before joining RBC in 2010.

She specialized in the areas of Wills & estate planning, estate administration and real estate. Shannon graduated from the University of Guelph with a Honours B.A. and received her LLB from the University of Toronto in 1998. She is a Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association Estates Section (Ontario) and the Oxford Law Society.

Shannon works closely with your investment advisor to provide you with information on structuring your estate in an efficient and tax-effective manner.  Following your meeting, Shannon will provide you with a report outlining various estate planning issues for you to explore in further detail with your own lawyer or accountant.

Scott VanEngen

Financial Planning Specialist

Scott brings his 25 plus years of financial services expertise to the clients he meets, including 18 years in public practice (six years as a partner) with a local CA firm. He has worked with clients in the areas of tax, estate and business strategy, including family business succession planning.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management Services, Scott provided services to RBC clients as a Commercial Account Manager, focused on owner-managed business and agriculture clients, and four years as a Private Banker, assisting high net worth clients with personal banking, credit, and financial planning needs.
Scott is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the Financial Planners Standard Council. He is a Canadian Association of Family Enterprises trained family business facilitator, a Family Business Advisor and a graduate of the University of Guelph with an animal science and agriculture business degree. He is also a member of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors and holds a CAFA designation (Certified Agriculture Farm Advisor). Scott will work with your advisors to prepare and present a comprehensive Financial Plan specific to you.
