Treasure Academy foundation
Founded in 2010 by Dominique Asselin, the Treasure Academy, a philanthropic organization, whose mission was to design and deliver free training sessions in finance, adapted to young people from 10 to 20 years old. The goal was to encourage them to develop their curiosity, so that they would be equipped to make good financial decisions, while motivating them to stay in school as long as possible.
During the 2014 Prix Excellence Gala, the Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF) awarded a special mention to Dominique for the significant impacts that the Treasure Academy brings to the community and to the financial services sector in Quebec.
Now, the philanthropic actions of the Treasure Academy are deployed via an endowment fund whose priority will be to support community and educational initiatives.
