Graduated from University of Toronto with a Neuroscience degree specializing in Human Behavior and Psychology, Dennis had originally planned on becoming a psychiatrist. It wasn’t until he started speaking with industry veterans, that he realized where his true passion and expertise intersected. “The world of economy is like a living, breathing organism. When there’s an action, there will be a reaction. It’s just how you interpret the signs that makes or breaks your strategy.” This had a profound impact on Dennis who realized his love for understanding how things work, including company strategies, their workings, and how one can surpass others in the industry. With his interest in investment strategies, and a keen insight of human behavior, he has his sights set on becoming a portfolio manager. Transparency, integrity, and trust is not only an RBC philosophy, but one that Dennis truly believes in; being open and honest is what drives success.
Dennis works closely with his advisor Carolyn and his associate advisor Keegan on providing the best experience possible for our clients. He assists the team with administrative tasks, including account opening, following up on transfers, registered account contributions/withdrawals, etc. His experience in customer service and people management makes him a great contact to support all the different client needs.
Dennis has completed his CFA level I exam as well as the Canadian Securities Course and is currently preparing for CFA level II. Being submerged in a fast-paced work and study environment, in his down-time, Dennis enjoys camping and skiing. He is also passionate about agriculture, beekeeping, and environmental preservation.
