I couldn’t have asked for a better start of the year… Our focus, as discussed in our previous newsletter, has been protecting your returns as we are very grateful for the bull market rebound that we experienced in the first four months of 2019.

Like we anticipated 2018 was the year the market just didn’t want to stay positive. Market volatility continued throughout the year with large swings of up immediately followed by large swings down.

Equity markets in the United States, Europe, and Japan are still below their January highs after volatility returned and a significant drop in the markets occurred in February and March.
