Our Process…

Discovery Meeting

  • We will meet to discuss whether or not we would be a good fit for each other
  • We will discuss your expectations and mine
  • In the first meeting you can expect:
    1. An agenda that will be prepared in advance of our meeting that is built around getting to know you
    2. I will ask you to bring your latest investment statements and a copy of your most recent Written Financial Plan and Investment Policy Statement as well as anything else you want me to review
  • This is an opportunity for me to learn about you and to provide you with a no obligation consultation:
    1. You will not be asked to sign anything
    2. You will not be asked to make any investment choices
    3. I will not be making any recommendations, that is saved for our next meeting

Proposal Meeting

  • We will meet again shortly to discuss my proposal for your Investment and Wealth Management Plans demonstrating how my team can support your values and financial goals
  • At this point you can decide:
    1. Is this a relationship that you feel can meet your expectation?
    2. If the fit is right we will sign account opening documents and transfer forms to make it official
  • If you decide that this isn't a good fit you will at least have an actionable plan that you can use to improve your finances with your existing advisor

First Follow up Meeting

  • When we get together next we will look at the first statements from your new accounts and address any questions you have
  • I will provide you with a Financial Planning questionnaire to get the Financial Planning process kicked off
  • We will address your immediate priorities and prepare a plan for the rest

Formal Review Meetings

  • Over the next two years we will have a schedule laid out for you that includes meetings with myself and any Wealth Management experts who we have determined will be of help to you
  • This is when we take a deeper look at how your plans fit in to the scope of your entire family
  • If you are comfortable you can chose to bring other family members into the process

Ongoing Basis

  • There will be invitations to workshops, seminars, and events that are geared towards the long term financial health of your family with some interesting guest speakers
  • When appropriate we will discuss a Multi-Generational Wealth Planning discussion with your extended family
