Thomas McBarron is a veteran of the investment advisory business with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Over those years Thomas has provided investment advice to families, publicly traded companies and the non-profit sector. Thomas brings a perspective of experience to investing that can only come from his many years spent advising clients. He is well known for his commitment to exhaustive research in pursuit of finding value at a reasonable cost when selecting investments for client accounts. Thomas explains his role in simple terms “Our job is to watch and worry about your money so that you don’t have to”.
In addition to working with his clients he has played an active role in senior management at several firms over his career and was instrumental in the development of advisor training programs and new investment products. Thomas has also provided volunteer leadership to a number of charities including; Chair of the YMCA of Greater Toronto Health Returns Capital Campaign, YMCA Audit Committee and the William Osler Hospital Foundation Finance and Investment Committee.
Outside of the office, Tom can often be found enjoying a round of golf at the local links or tinkering on his cars in the garage.
