The son of a local sports legend, the late Dick Mosher, Scott learned the value of hard work through athletics from a young age. Scott’s efforts and dedication brought him to compete at the highest level of field hockey – he represented Canada at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. This industriousness has been a hallmark of Scott’s professional life, on and off the field.
An alum of the University of British Columbia’s kinesiology program, Scott wanted to go into cardiac rehabilitation, and indeed had a gig lined up. But while the prospect of helping people with their physical well-being appealed to Scott, his long-time passion for markets and the business world pulled him toward helping in another way: wealth management. Gaining credentials and experience at institutions like the Canadian Western Bank and an independent investment firm, Scott made an impression as one to roll up his sleeves and lead by example. (“You’re in the office before us, and you’re in the office after we’re gone,” commented one superior.) In 2001, Scott retired from competitive sports and dedicated himself to wealth management in full.
Over the past 20-plus years, Scott has made a name for himself as a senior portfolio manager who is equal parts caring and pragmatic. “Communications without candour have no place in financial advice,” says Scott, whose clients value his direct and informative point of view. To enhance his professional service offering, Scott has acquired the advanced Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designations, and he is also life-licensed. Scott is always thinking several steps and several years ahead, endeavouring to chart a strategic course in all he does, be it developing his clients’ portfolios or building up our practice as one of its leaders.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, Tori, and their two boys, William and Nicholas. He stays active through skiing, soccer, and cycling. Honouring his father’s legacy, Scott can often be found coaching and volunteering in his local community.

“This career found me,” says Stacey, who studied psychology as well as Russian language and literature at the University of Calgary, and had ambitions of becoming a professor. Questioning her place in the ivory tower, Stacey put her studies on hold, and got a taste of many different industries and vocations while working at a temp agency. She soon found herself in capital markets and was enthralled. “The fast-moving world was new and exciting to me,” she recalls. There, Stacey met a number of investment advisors, who expounded the benefits of the client side, particularly the long-term relationships involved therein. In 1997, Stacey moved into wealth management as an administrator, gaining experience and credentials – “I did every course available,” she says – as she worked her way up.
Fast forward nearly three decades, and Stacey, who holds the Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designation, is one of the leaders of our practice. As a senior portfolio manager and wealth advisor, Stacey strongly believes that a solid financial plan is the heart of successful wealth management, and draws on the expertise of RBC Dominion Securities’ specialists to provide the best solutions and advice for her clients. She finds particular satisfaction in empowering women and helping ensure their families are thoughtfully provided for. Known for her professionalism, empathy, candour, and attention to detail, Stacey consistently strives to elevate our client service.
Born and raised in a small town in northeast Alberta, Stacey relocated to the Lower Mainland in 1990, and now lives in North Vancouver. She loves to spend time with her two daughters, Kaelyn and Asia, both of whom are university students. In her spare time, Stacey enjoys running, reading, skiing, hiking, wine, and great food. She also loves to travel, and finds great joy in exploring the world and having new adventures.
One of Andrew’s core strengths is his open mind. In 2002, as a recent film school grad and self-described “ski bum,” Andrew took an opportunity to help a friend get his business idea – a wireless payment terminal – off the ground. He booked a one-way ticket from Vancouver to Toronto, and hit the road, selling to small business operators, from tow truckers to pizza delivery drivers. “I was walking up to people and selling on the spot,” recalls Andrew, whose natural knack for connecting with people proved pertinent. Andrew says this “street education” taught him how to think on his feet, as well as the ins and outs of the business world.
Andrew helped grow the company enough to sell it, and, in 2008, was ready for his next venture. He didn’t have investing in his sights, but, as he puts it, “the industry picked me.” Through a chance encounter, Andrew got talking entrepreneurship to a successful Bay Street professional. “You’re in the wrong business,” said his companion two hours into their chat. “You need to come work for us.” “Us” was the wealth management arm of a major financial institution, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Joining the industry just before a major financial crash proved to be a “bizarre and necessary” investing education for Andrew, teaching him to take nothing for granted and beware his own biases. “The markets fascinate me. Every day there’s something new to learn,” says Andrew, who holds the advanced Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation. An unwavering curiosity, complemented by innate people skills, serves Andrew well in his role as senior portfolio manager, as well as partner and chair of our group’s portfolio investment committee. Andrew is known for simplifying the complexity for clients, be it through one-on-one discussions or authoring market commentary.
Andrew lives in East Vancouver with his two young children, Emma and Fletcher. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, skiing, and snowboarding. He also loves to fish off the Sunshine Coast and spend time with friends and family.
While her fellow Strath partners took the scenic route to their vocation, Alex found her calling in wealth management at the onset of her career. “An acquaintance introduced me to the industry, and I immediately knew it was the right one for me,” says Alex, who – long interested in business – had recently obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in finance from the University of Saskatchewan. “I loved the idea of taking my education and using it to lead people to financial freedom,” she says. With her chosen path laid ahead of her, Alex put in the hard work to rapidly make her way from administrative assistant to associate to an advisory role.
Today, as a portfolio manager and wealth advisor, Alex leans on 13 years of industry experience, as well as the advanced Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, to manage her clients’ finances through sophisticated investment and wealth solutions. “Getting to know my clients, and finding ways to help is my daily reward,” says Alex, whose favourite part of her job is connecting with people and unearthing how she can improve their financial standing. Another great source of satisfaction for Alex comes from executing her clients’ financial plans, something she is well poised to do as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). In addition, Alex is life insurance licensed.
In her spare time, Alex enjoys spending time outdoors, including long walks with her dog, Luna. An active person, depending on the weather, Alex can often be found out running, cycling, hiking, or skiing.
Sue has worked for multiple major institutions in the financial sector for 20 years, serving as an assistant branch manager before entering the world of wealth. Armed with strong people skills and a knack for navigating the banking system, Sue joined the Strath team in 2007.
As an associate wealth advisor, Sue supports Stacey and her clients. She assists clients with everything from financial planning to portfolio management. Be it fulfilling an RRSP contribution request or performing a portfolio review, interactions with clients and their families are Sue’s favourite part of the job. “I really enjoy working with people, helping them achieve their financial goals,” she says.
Originally from Vernon, B.C., Sue likes to spend time with her husband, Mark, their sons, Quinn and Jack, as well as the family dog, Bailey. In her off hours, she can be found watching her boys at the local hockey rink, soccer pitch, or baseball diamond.

Coming from the customer service sector, Terresa has served clients in the finance industry since 2006, starting in administrative roles. Joining the Strath team in 2007, Terresa quickly worked her way up to the associate level, having gained all the required accreditations and licenses.
As a senior associate advisor, Terresa supports Andrew and his clients through portfolio rebalancing and reviews, regular investment discussions, and documentation maintenance. She also prepares retirement plans, which she presents to clients.
“I enjoy seeing clients achieve their financial goals and have their money work for them,” says Terresa, but, for her, it’s about more than money. Terresa takes the time to get to know her clients on a personal level, uncovering any concerns, so she can give them peace of mind.
Terresa’s commitment to helping people extends beyond her job. She helps manage the various sports teams that her son, Everett, plays on. And she and her husband, Dan, sponsor a child in the Dominican Republic through the Ruben’s Shoes Society.
Having grown up on a hobby farm in Lake Cowichan, Terresa feels a strong connection to nature. She enjoys spending time outside – hiking, boating, camping, or skiing – with Dan, Everett, and the family dog, Lando.
In 2003, Jill had an inside peek at a major financial institution as a co-op student. “I took an interest in the financial planning and investing side within a constantly changing environment. I learned it was about creating long-lasting relationships and supporting people with various needs,” recalls Jill. This experience inspired her to study financial planning at Conestoga College. Over time and across multiple organizations, Jill has since built up her career and her credentials.
Before joining the Strath team in 2020, Jill served as a trusted member at a large independent wealth management firm. As an associate portfolio manager supporting Scott and the team’s clients, she leans on her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designations, as well as her life insurance license, to provide personalized and sound wealth management solutions and investment advice to clients.
Jill gets a great deal of satisfaction from helping people to achieve their financial goals and understand the complex wealth management environment. “Knowing that we are helping people in a very important aspect of their life through established trust and confidence of our advice brings me joy,” she says.
Originally from Ontario, Jill moved to Vancouver in early 2014 and experienced a seamless change of scenery. She has since settled in Coquitlam and now considers the West Coast “home”; she enjoys the neverending beauty British Columbia has to offer. In her spare time, Jill can be found running around the seawall, hiking in the mountains, visiting family in Ontario, and enjoying time with her husband, Chris, and their boxer dog, Abby.
