A graduate from the University of Waterloo in 1980, Steve earned his Professional Engineering designation in 1982. Subsequently, he spent several successful years as a Project Engineer, before earning his M.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.
Since 1985, Steve has been a senior manager in the pulp and paper, real estate and investment industries. His hands-on business insights, acquired in over 30 years of experience, are invaluable for clients wishing to preserve capital, maximize after-tax investment returns and build significant wealth.
To better serve the investment and estate planning needs of his clients, Steve is a strong believer in professional development. He earned his life insurance license in 1996, and has acquired advanced knowledge of financial, tax and estate planning strategies. Steve is a recognized Wealth Advisor with expertise in business planning and restructuring as well as family financial, tax and estate planning.
Married with five children, Steve is personally familiar with all aspects and benefits of financial and estate planning. Steve is a dedicated "hockey dad” and spends his spare time coaching girls rep hockey and running elite hockey skill development camps for girls. Steve is a committed supporter of The Sick Kids Hospital, the Toronto City Mission and, through his charitable hockey camps, also supports Halton Women’s Place and the Right To Play.
