The Daffodil Ball in support of the Canadian Cancer Society goes virtual!

Although we were sad to not be able to attend in person, our family at S.P. Wong Wealth would like to share with you the virtual ball that took place. With creativity and confidence that supporters are committed to such an important cause, the virtual ball was a great success!

Our family at S.P. Wong Wealth are avid supporters of cancer research. As such, we chose to convert our $6,500 sponsorship of The Daffodil Ball into a donation for the Canadian Cancer Society’s COVID-19 Emergency Fund. Beyond meeting the urgent needs of people with cancer during the pandemic, they are also focused on accelerating the translation of cancer research discoveries into action, like program and public policy. This will be done faster and more effectively by building a Centre for Cancer Prevention and Support. The Centre, currently under construction at their main BC site in Vancouver, will serve as the national epicenter that will help transform the status quo and drive progressive change for the cancer cause.

We strongly believe in the work the Canadian Cancer Society does and want to support their quest to make the world cancer free.
