Shan recently joined RBC Dominion Securities, although his financial services career began in the mid-1990s. Prior to joining RBC DS, he was a Portfolio Manager focusing on developing individual solutions to meet high net worth client’s investment, and retirement and estate planning needs.
Shan earned his MBA from Schulich School of Business with a focus on financial services and entrepreneurship. Hs also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation- a respected and recognized investment credential worldwide. Earning a CFA designation involves completing a graduate-level curriculum with a rigorous focus on real world investment analysis and portfolio management. It also emphasizes the highest ethical and professional standards.
In a personal note, Shan is married with two children. He enjoys running and golfing and is a wine lover who has studied with the International Sommelier Guild.
