Born and raised in British Columbia, Scott began his career at RBC in Calgary after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of British Columbia - Okanagan. He then worked for a boutique private wealth management firm for several years, providing comprehensive wealth planning advice to some of Canada's wealthiest families. Scott rejoined RBC in 2012, in its financial planning group, and founded his practice with RBC Dominion Securities in 2016.
As a firm believer that achieving financial success starts with having a sound financial plan and a clearly defined investment strategies, Scott has also completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designations. Outside the office, Scott and his wife, Jackie, both enjoy golf, skiing, attending concerts and spending time with their two rescue pets, Brynn and Smokey. They are both also passionate Gonzaga University basketball fans, and are actively working toward seeing a baseball game in in every major league ballpark.
