David joined his father in 1992, and has helped grow the business by providing clients with full service wealth management advice drawing upon his expertise as a portfolio manager. David’s 29 year tenure on our prestigious recognition councils is a testament to his success.
Both David and Bud have made it their mission to make a positive impact on the community and their efforts set an example for everyone at the firm. Bud established the Bud and Laverna Family Fund through the Edmonton Community Foundation and supports the Edmonton Caring Clown program where, you will occasionally see an appearance from Bud the Clown. He is a strong supporter of the University of Alberta Hospital Brain Care Centre and was a Centennial Officer for Alberta. For over 20 years, David has served as a Board Director for the Northern Lights Scout Foundation and also contributes to the Telus World of Science Board. He has also shared his passion for the financial industry as a commentator for the CBC and as a Canadian Securities Course instructor at Grant MacEwan Community College in Edmonton. David also served on the Investment Committee of the Edmonton Community Foundation and is currently on the Investment Committee for the Royal ALexandra Hospital Foundation.
