I began my career over twenty years ago as an Investment Counselor, providing discretionary wealth management services to high net worth individuals, estates, trusts, municipalities, and corporations located throughout Southwestern Ontario. Over the span of my career, I have emphasized the importance of a well thought-out financial plan as the foundation of wealth strategies.
I pride myself in providing exemplary client service, and building strong client relationships, spending time listening and learning about each client’s unique life story. I place a strong emphasis on financial planning, integrating clients’ near-term and long-term goals and adjusting for changes along life’s journey. I take a collaborative approach working with partners and industry professionals to provide individualized solutions and careful, considerate advice.
As an experienced and qualified professional, I have committed to lifelong learning as I have long recognized the importance of keeping current and relevant in today’s fast-paced financial industry.
I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts program, with a major in Economics from York University. In addition, I am a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
My early years were spent on our family’s dairy farm in Bradford, Ontario, where I participated for many years in the Simcoe County 4-H Club. Although I did not follow in the footsteps of the family farm, I attribute the success of my career to the family farm values of hard work, dedication, and commitment.
I currently live in St. Thomas, Ontario with my husband, Kyle and our two daughters, Katie and Lilly. My personal interest include running, cycling, yoga, reading, cooking. I have a strong interest in philanthropy and actively participate in raising money for the Shrine Hospitals for Children, and I am a long-time supporter of the Children’s Aid Foundation.
