Peter has worked in the financial services industry since 2001 and has been with RBC since 2003, notably as a Financial Planner providing advice and solutions, personal lending and mortgage advice in the Coquitlam Town Center branch. Prior to this he was a Senior Business Advisor with CIBC, providing financial planning and portfolio management for high-end businesses and corporations.
A graduate of Czech Technical University with a diploma of Mechanical Engineering in 1989, he has since completed several professional designations and courses including Wealth Management Essential Course, Professional Financial Planner Course, the Canadian Securities Course and the Conducts and Practice Handbook, enabling him to provide even more comprehensive financial planning and wealth management advice to individuals, families and businesses.
Today, Peter provides his clients with a comprehensive approach to wealth management that balances their level of risk tolerance with their needs for growth – consistent with their personal, family and professional circumstances. He provides service to clients both in the Lower Mainland and on the Sunshine Coast.
An active member of his community, Peter supports several local charities and community organizations including the The Sleepy Hollow Rod Run, Sunshine Coast RCMP "Drug Safety" program, Sechelt Legion annual poppy drive, Sunshine Coast Hospice Society, and The Sechelt Hospital Foundation.
Outside of the office he enjoys reading, rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing and music.
