Paul has lived in Whitby since 1980 and lives with his wife, Heather, who he met while attending McMaster University where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce Honours. Paul and Heather have 2 boys, the oldest of which is completing a Masters of Kinesiology while their youngest is attending the University of British Columbia completing a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting. When Paul isn’t working, he can be found in the gym lifting weights, on the golf course with friends or unwinding in the backyard with a fine cigar.
After a 20-year career as an equity trader in Toronto's financial district, Paul is focused on applying all the lessons he's learned to help his clients. Now, as an Investment Advisor, he embraces the concept of wealth management and is highly focused on planning and client experience. Paul considers it a privilege to grow his client’s wealth but more importantly he values their happiness and peace of mind. Paul has gained a wealth of insight and personal experience within the investment world over his career, and also earned the financial planning designation of QAFP to ensure he can attend to all his client's needs.
Paul is a strong believer in giving back to his community. As an active Rotarian, and current Treasurer for the Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise, Paul donates his time towards several initiatives including Durham Outlook For the Needy where he coordinates a team once a month to prepare and serve freshly made meals to the community. He also sits on the committee for the Whitby Ribfest and is a strong supporter of Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health as a past committee member.
