Paul has lived in Whitby since 1980 and lives with his wife, Heather, who he met while attending McMaster University where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce Honours. Paul and Heather have 2 boys, the oldest of which is attending Dalhousie University while their youngest is attending University of British Columbia. When Paul isn’t working he can be found in the gym lifting weights, on the golf course with friends or unwinding in the backyard with a fine cigar.
After a 20 year career as an equity trader in Toronto's financial district, Paul is focused on applying all the lessons he's learned to help his clients. As a market participant who experienced first hand the Dot.com bubble, 911, the Great Financial Crisis, an oil crash, tariff wars and a pandemic, Paul has gained a wealth of insight and personal experience within the investment world. He has also since earned the financial planning designation of QAFP to ensure he can attend to all his client's needs.
Paul is a strong believer in giving back to his community. As an active Rotarian with Rotary Whitby Sunrise, Paul donates his time towards several initiatives including Durham Outlook For the Needy where he coordinates a team once a month to prepare and serve freshly made meals to the community. He is also involved with Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health as a committee member and currently sits on the board for Station Gallery in Whitby as Treasurer.
