Michael has been in the Wealth Management Industry since 1997 where his primary area of focus has been in investment advisory and wealth advisory services. Michael joined RBC Wealth Management in 2020 as Vice President, Private Wealth Consultant; a role in which he will support advisors and fellow professionals in engaging enterprising families in broader discussions with respect to their family, their businesses and their wealth.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management Michael held several progressive roles at other financial institutions. Michael was the former Head of HNW Wealth Planning Services at another Canadian financial institution where he was involved in the development of: financial planning software, a HNW service delivery model, specialized planning services including the introduction of business advisory and cross border wealth planning.
Michael’s experience in conjunction with his completion of many industry leading designations suit him well as he helps initiate client discussions on family governance, family business succession, and legacy. Michael is dedicated to working as part of a multidisciplinary team guiding enterprising families to greater success.

Prashant Patel, ASA, CFP, TEP

As a Business Owner Specialist, High Net Worth Planning Services, Prashant, together with your primary RBC advisor, helps you explore succession, tax, retirement and estate planning issues you face as a business owner.
His guidance supports clients in their relationships with their external professional advisors, with whom he frequently interacts.
His expertise includes tax and estate planning for business owners, executives, retirees, sports professionals and individuals with U.S. issues. He also assists individuals facing significant financial events (sale of business, financial windfall, retirement, job loss, moving to Canada, leaving Canada, etc.)
Prior to joining RBC in 1999, Prashant honed his expertise by working as a Canadian and U.S. tax specialist for two of the big four accounting firms in downtown Toronto.
Prashant is a Certified Financial Planner, Associate of the Society of Actuaries and member of both the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Canadian
Tax Foundation.
Barrington Grey, CFP, CLU, FEA

After four years with a leading life insurer, Barrington joined RBC in 1993 to help RBC advisors introduce their clients to a new strategy to build and protect their wealth: tax-exempt insurance. Since then, clients, along with their tax and legal advisors, have come to rely on his expertise and advice as a recognized specialist on insurance-based wealth enhancement and protection.
Barrington is an accredited Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and Family Enterprise Advisor. He is also a member of CALU, the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting which mandates interests specific to advanced financial planning issues related to estate planning and corporate-owned life insurance, to name a few.
Always willing to contribute to the insurance community, Barrington is regularly called upon as a featured speaker at national conferences held by life insurers and affiliated industry associations.
Michael Dignam brings 20 years of experience in wealth management to his role as a Private Banker, providing wealth management advice customized for select families in Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Markham, Vaughan, Newmarket and Aurora.
Mr. Dignam and his team – including a Private Banking Associate and a Manager, Credit Structures – work closely with a variety of partners in RBC to create and deliver banking, unique credit solutions and wealth management strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances. These customized solutions may include specialized wealth management planning, business owner planning, estate planning and domestic and international trust structures.
With his personal and customized service, Mr. Dignam can simplify their complex financial lives so they can focus on their career and personal goals. Because he works with a relatively small number of high-net-worth families, Mr. Dignam can respond quickly to his clients’ needs, providing them with the attention required to meet and exceed their expectations. Mr. Dignam has earned his designation as a Personal Financial Planner (PFP), which has deepened his experience and understanding of the solutions he provides. Originally from Toronto, Mr. Dignam holds a Bachelor’s degree from York University and is married with two children. Outside of the office, he spends time with his family and enjoys soccer, golf and tennis.
As a Private Banker with RBC Wealth Management, Jean Debos provides comprehensive wealth management and financing strategies to high-net-worth business owners, executives, professionals and their families in the Toronto area.
Mr. Debos brings nearly 20 years of private client experience in both Canada and Switzerland to this role. He began working on the RBC Fixed-Income Desks in Montreal, and later Toronto, and remained with RBC when he moved to Geneva, Switzerland, to provide Private Banking services for clients based in Europe and the Middle East, liaising with the Dubai office. He also served as Chief Investment Officer for a Geneva-based family wealth office, where he managed in-house funds, succession planning and other client needs; and as Executive Director for a major bank in Switzerland serving ultra-high-net-worth Spanish clients. This experience has given him insight and experience serving the unique needs of his clients and within an integrated family office environment.
Now in the Toronto Private Banking office, Mr. Debos works closely with his clients to provide seamless, unparalleled wealth management. He creates tailored financial solutions for high-net-worth individuals, business owners, professionals, executives and their families. Through RBC he partners with specialists in Canada and in key markets worldwide to provide a complete range of complementary services, from sophisticated credit solutions, to estate and philanthropic strategies, to domestic and international trust services.
Fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian, Mr. Debos holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva.
Zain is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He has completed the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course and holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University (major in Accounting). In his previous role as a Senior Tax Manager at one of the global major accounting firms, Zain specialized in providing tax planning and compliance services to high net worth individuals, private businesses, estates, trusts and partnerships.

Kelly received her law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1993 and was called to the bar in 1995.
She practised in the areas of litigation, family law and estate planning at a law firm until joining a major trust company in 1996, where she worked in a variety of roles involving estate administration and planning. Kelly joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2003.
Kelly received her Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation in 1998 and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) as well as the Law Society of Upper Canada. She has completed Parts I and II of the CICA in-depth tax course.
Kelly’s significant practical experience in the estate planning and administration field, coupled with her financial planning expertise, allows her to offer guidance on both the tax and personal implications of your estate plan.
