Born and raised in southern Ontario in the farming community of Leamington on Lake Erie. Nathan enjoyed his youth spending time active outdoors, hence graduating from Lakehead University in 1994 with an Honors degree in Outdoor Recreation, Parks & Tourism Management plus Bachelor of Arts Degree.
After spending his initial 15 years working in Canadian retail banking roles, he continued his learning path by completing his Certified Management Accounting (CPA, CMA) designation in 2011. This allowed Nathan to improve his financial knowledge to succeed the last 10 years on providing excellent customer service and Corporate Financing to small-medium public and private western Canadian companies. Now, Nathan is excited to get back to focusing his career on his initial passion of investments with positive customer service and wealth management advice to help clients meet their financial goals.
Nathan is an active participant in giving back to his community, as a volunteer and board member in his two teen child’s sports. He enjoyed coaching hockey with McKnight Hockey Association for eight years and now a program treasurer for Nakiska Alpine Ski Association in the Kananaskis Alpine Ski Club U16 for the last 6 years at Nakiska Ski hill, while volunteering as needed with the Nose Creek Swim Association. Nathan’s other interest include golf, mountain biking, sailing, alpine and cross-country skiing.
