Mike Weber grew up in the East Riverside area of Windsor, Ontario. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts (specialization in Computer Science) and achieved Dean’s List standing. He continued on at Western to earn his Master of Business Administration (MBA), graduating in 1981. Mike moved to Toronto to raise his family and began his financial career in corporate banking. In 1983, Mike joined Pitfield Mackay Ross (acquired by Dominion Securities in 1984) in its Royal Bank Plaza branch as an Investment Advisor, the beginnings of his wealth management focus for clients.
In an award winning career spanning numerous market cycles, Mike has advised and guided both clients and wealth management professionals alike, in the leading office, for the leading firm in Canada. During his tenure, he has been involved in the leadership of our national branch network, from coast to coast, affording him a unique perspective from which to provide professional advice to clients nationwide. Today, Mike is a Senior Portfolio Manager & Investment Advisor, registered in every province of the country. As a Chartered Investment Manager and Portfolio Manager, Mike has earned some of Canada’s highest investment industry designations. Mike is also registered as a life insurance agent, a key benefit to clients with complex tax and estate planning needs. He has been blessed with the opportunity to enjoy four decades of investment industry experience, customizing financial planning, estate and investment solutions for individual clients, trusts, foundations, and institutions based on their goals, dreams and aspirations.
Mike now resides in Oakville, west of Toronto, and has three adult sons living in Whistler, Vancouver and Toronto. Mike is a proud supporter of the United Way, Western University, Ivey School of Business, Michael Garron Hospital, Daily Bread Food Bank, and New Circles Community Services. His interests include travel, golf, cycling, skiing, and building things.
