With over 18 years of financial services experience, Michael Francella oversees a wealth advisory practice customized for each client. During Michael’s 14-year tenure at RBC Dominion Securities, he has been recognized twice as an annual RBC Performance Convention Award recipient, which is a testament to his outstanding efforts in making a positive difference for RBC Wealth Management clients, and the communities he serves.
Michael received his Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in finance and economics from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Business. Michael is an active leader in his community, highlighted by receiving the Arbor Award from the University of Toronto. The Arbor Award recognizes U of T volunteers who, through their exemplary generosity, make sustained and valuable contributions to the experience of U of T students, faculty members, staff and alumni. He has served on many charitable fundraising committees over the years, which have included Parachute Canada Foundation, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, Heart & Stroke Canada, and Sick Kids Hospital Foundation.
Michael lives in the Kensington Market neighbourhood of Toronto with his wife, and their two young daughters. He is an avid golfer and an alumnus of the Royal Conservatory of Music piano performance program. You can find Michael and his family catching the latest exhibit at the Art of Gallery of Ontario, playing the piano at U of T’s Hart House, or strolling in one of Toronto’s many parks.
