Matthew has been enjoying a career in the Financial Services Industry for more than 10 years. Along the way, he has built meaningful relationships with clients as well as industry specialists, gaining invaluable experience in Financial Planning before joining RBC Dominion Securities in 2017.
Graduating with his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2008, Matthew started his journey with RBC in Retail Banking in Toronto, Ontario. In 2010, he relocated to Calgary where he became a Financial Advisor a few years later. In a quest to pursue his ultimate passion to have a career in the investment industry, Matthew obtained his Personal Financial Planner (PFP®) designation in 2014 and became licensed as an Investment Advisor with Dominion Securities in the summer of 2017. He completed his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) in 2022 furthering his ability to build quality portfolios and client relationships. Along with many of his loyal and long-time clients, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in investments and financial planning.
When he is not working, playing golf or coaching his kids' sports teams, Matthew and his wife, Rena, enjoy an active lifestyle in south Calgary with their children, Luke, Owen, Bennett and Myla.
