Sarah Bewley

Sarah Bewley | Manager - Canada Due Diligence | Global Manager Research

Based in Toronto, Sarah is the team lead for the Canadian‐based GMR analysts. GMR provides all research, oversight and due diligence on investment managers for use in RBC Wealth Management’s various business channels in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. Sarah is the chair of the equity committee for the Canadian‐based model portfolios and has been called upon to present at conferences, high‐net‐worth client meetings and branches. Sarah entered the investments industry in 2006. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, she was a senior analyst at TD and the lead analyst for non‐Canadian equities for both mutual funds and separately managed accounts. Prior to that, she was a senior analyst at Quilter Cheviot based in London, UK, where she was the lead analyst for U.S., Asia, emerging markets and UK equity mutual funds and was responsible for managing model portfolios. Prior to this she was an fund analyst at Morningstar, also in London. Sarah holds a Master of Arts degree in economics and a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in economics and management science and a minor in finance. She is a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.

Joseph Wu

Joseph Wu | VP and Portfolio Manager, Multi-Asset Strategy

Joseph began his career with RBC in 2007 and joined RBC Wealth Management’s Portfolio Advisory Group in 2010. Joseph is a member of RBC Wealth Management’s Global Portfolio Advisory Committee, which provides strategic analysis of financial markets and asset class recommendations. Serving as the co-chair of our Asset Allocation Committee and Tactical Committee, he has been involved with the management of the firm’s multi-asset class portfolios. Joseph currently focuses on multi-asset strategy, helping to develop and shape our overall investment stance and asset allocation strategy. He previously held positions providing research coverage of Canadian equities and exchange traded funds. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto in the finance specialist program and is a CFA Charterholder.

Mikhail Pasic

Mikhail Pasic | Head, Alternative investments

Mikhial has been with RBC Dominion Securities since 2008 and a member of the Portfolio Advisory Group since 2010. In his current role, he works closely with colleagues in Global Manager Research to develop a managed platform of private markets offerings and provides advice and guidance on how to integrate alternative investments into portfolios. He also serves as a co-portfolio manager of tactical managed solutions portfolios and a government bond portfolio, and is a member of the Global Portfolio Advisory Committee that provides asset allocation guidance. Before assuming his current role, Mikhial was a Fixed Income Portfolio Advisor and a member of the Fixed Income Trading Group within PAG. Prior to joining PAG, Mikhial was a member of the Wealth Management Generalist Program. Mikhial is a CFA charterholder and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with concentration in Finance from the University of Detroit Mercy.

Carolyn Schroeder

Carolyn Schroeder | Portfolio Advisor, Alternative Investments

Carolyn joined the Portfolio Advisory Group in 2018 and provided guidance on portfolio construction and multi-asset portfolio management to investment advisors. Carolyn is a member of the Canadian Investment Committee and the Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to joining RBC, Carolyn worked at Invesco Ltd. as a research analyst for institutional investors and the retail channel followed by a role in multi-asset platform management. Olha Mirchuk

Olha Mirchuk | Responsible Investing and ESG Specialist

Olha joined the Responsible Investing team of RBC Wealth Management in July 2024. In her role, Olha produces thought leadership materials that enable advisors and clients to better understand responsible investing and the different approaches of incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into an investment portfolio. Prior to joining the Responsible Investing team, Olha spent three years contributing to the well-being of RBC through her role as an audit manager in Internal Audit. In this role, she covered personal and commercial banking as well as a number of enterprise functional units. She gained expertise in internal controls, regulatory compliance practices and continuous risk monitoring. Olha received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Alberta alongside a School of Business Leadership certificate. Olha gained work experience in multiple internships at Deloitte, acquiring skills in public accounting as well as global assurance practice.
