Marc is an Investment Counsellor with RBC PH&N Investment Counsel with over fifteen years’ experience in the investment industry. He works directly with wealthy families, businesses, not-for-profit organizations and institutional investors providing portfolio management and advanced wealth planning. Prior to joining PH&N, Marc was a Senior Investment Consultant with Morneau Shepell (later LifeWorks) where he worked with pension plans, endowments and foundations across Atlantic Canada on all aspects of design, implementation, and governance of their investment portfolios.
Whether it is a private client or a larger institution, Marc takes a consultative approach when interacting with clients and assisting them in understanding the complexities around portfolio and investment management. He enjoys discussions where he gets to educate clients around different asset classes and invests significant time in ensuring that the client's comfort level is appropriately reflected in their portfolio.
Marc attended Acadia University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) and is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
Marc enjoys getting involved in his local community and is the Treasurer of the Colchester East Hants Health Centre Foundation and serves as Chair of the Finance Committee. He has also been a judge for the regional and national CFA Ethics Challenge for multiple years. When Marc is not working or volunteering, he enjoys spending as much time outside as possible and discovering new place around the world to explore.
