Portfolio Manager, Investment & Wealth Advisor
Jason specializes in creating full-service wealth management solutions that touch on every facet of a client’s financial journey, from portfolio reviews to business succession planning. Passionate about financial literacy, Jason has made it his mission to help those around him establish a strong financial foundation, reducing clients’ stress whenever possible through education.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria in 1998, Jason worked in various client-facing positions, including as a retail branch manager, at another large financial institution before joining RBC in 2001. Here, he worked on the retail branch side before switching to RBC Dominion Securities in 2003, quickly making a name for himself thanks to his dedicated work ethic and unwavering curiosity. Committed to continual financial education, Jason now holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designations, and is recognized as a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
Outside of work, Jason leads a busy and active life with his wife and three children. If he’s not at the office, he can likely be found shuttling his kids back and forth to hockey, lacrosse, and everything in between.
Investment Advisor
Ali focuses on wealth and risk management for professionally incorporated and private clients, creating long-term, bespoke financial and institutional portfolio strategies.
Ali has spent over ten years as a wealth advisor in Canada working with professional corporations, private investors, and their families. Prior to moving to Canada, Ali was in the strategy and business development field, working within the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries in Europe and North America. He has also held post-doctoral roles at the University of Victoria and the University of Cambridge. Ali has a doctorate from the University of Cambridge, a master's degree with honours from Imperial College London, and an undergraduate degree from Imperial College London with ancillaries from the London School of Economics.
When not gazing at numbers, Ali enjoys triathlon training, herding cats, and hiking the outdoors with his family in Victoria.
Associate Wealth & Investment Advisor
With nearly 20 years of experience at RBC Dominion Securities, Jarad is an expert when it comes to managing complex wealth situations. Whether he’s executing trades or reviewing client portfolios, Jarad works to build long-term relationships, connecting with our clients at every step to ensure that they feel confident and secure in their financial future.
A continuous growth mindset and a determined attitude have been mainstays of Jarad’s career in wealth management, propelling him upward through roles in operations, business development, and more. As a core part of Lonsdale, Nozari & Andrews Private Wealth, Jarad brings this well-rounded approach to our team, designing comprehensive investment solutions that put clients’ needs first. In addition to his professional experience, Jarad holds a diploma in finance and accounting from Camosun College, as well as his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
A lifelong resident of Victoria, Jarad enjoys spending his free time in nature – hiking, camping, and canoeing. When he’s not at the office, he can likely be found with his family, making memories with his wife and two young children.
Associate
After a successful 20-year career in hospitality, Liz made the choice to switch industries in 2011, first working with an independent mutual funds and insurance firm before joining Lonsdale, Nozari & Andrews Private Wealth in 2022. As an associate on our team, Liz serves as the first point of contact for many of our clients, booking review meetings, opening accounts, and assisting with account transfers and withdrawals. She thrives in the fast-paced environment of wealth management, leaning on the strong organizational and client service skills she developed in her previous roles.
Liz is a graduate from the University of Victoria, having successfully obtained her Bachelor of Arts in psychology. Dedicated to continual education, Liz is also life insurance licensed.
Married with two children, Liz keeps busy by spending time outdoors, going to the gym, gardening, and baking.
Wealth Associate
A former paralegal at a boutique family law firm, Carly brings a high level of customer service and a proven attention to detail to the Lonsdale, Nozari & Andrews team. As a Wealth Associate, she handles many of our client-facing operations, including onboarding, account maintenance, trusts, and Will and estate documentation. Concierge client service is Carly’s specialty, and she works tirelessly to ensure that she makes a positive impact on our clients’ lives every day.
Carly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vancouver Island University, and is committed to completing other professional accreditations.
Outside of work, Carly can be found hosting dinner parties for family and friends, working out at her local CrossFit gym, or spending time with her husband and their two young children.
