The Simkin Stroll

In June, 2025, the Thomas Wealth Management Group had the privilege of being a sponsor of the 13th annual Simkin Stroll. 

The Simkin Stroll, hosted by the Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre, is a community gathering to celebrate healthy aging. Beginning at the Centre doors, participants walked throughout Linden Ridge cheered on by staff and friends. Proceeds from the event went towards enhanced evening and weekend Therapeutic Recreation Programming and Services, which engage the body, mind, and imagination, by providing enriching life experiences regardless of barriers to health.

We had a wonderful time again this year experiencing the many things this event has to offer, and greatly look forward to working with the Centre again soon!

October, 2024

Suspended Superheroes

On October 4th, 2024, the Thomas Wealth Management Group had the opportunity to sponsor and attend Suspended Superhero's. This event was hosted by Voyageur Technical in partnership with the Childrens Hospital Foundation and saw volunteers of all walks of life dress up and rappel down the side of the hospital waving at the children through the various windows. Suspended Superhero's raised over thirty-thousand dollars for the Children's Hospital Foundation, and the Thomas Wealth Management Group is greatly appreciative of being able to be involved with this event. We would also like to extend a special thanks to Joshua Pchajek, A.K.A, the Winnipeg Webhead, with all of his assistance in our involvement.

We had such a wonderful time experiencing the many things this event had to offer, and greatly look forward to working with The Simkin Centre again soon!

FSWC 2nd Annual Curling Funspiel

In December of 2023, the Thomas Wealth Management Group once again had the honor of being the lead sponsor for the second annual First Steps Wellness Centre Curling Funspiel.

First Steps Wellness Centre (FSWC) is a non-profit organization and leading facility in Canada for spinal cord injury and neurorehabilitation.

Our group not only had the privilege of sponsoring this event but participating as well. Curling teams took turns throwing rocks in a wheelchair, bringing awareness towards parasports, and providing an accessible and inclusive environment for everyone.

The Thomas Wealth Management Group is grateful for this opportunity, and looks forward to continuing its relationship with such an amazing organization.

August, 2023

    Rolling Fore First Steps 

     In August, 2023, the Thomas Wealth Management Group had the privilege of once again working with First Steps Wellness Centre (FSWC) at the 1^st Annual Rolling Fore First Steps Invitational Golf Classic at Kingswood Golf & Country Club, La Salle, MB.

     This golf tournament consisted of teams of four playing 18 holes, followed by a dinner and raffle draw for many different prizes. All money raised from this event went towards First Steps Wellness Centre in Winnipeg.

     Carter represented the Thomas Wealth management team at this event, and pictured alongside him in the photos beside and below is Jonas Mark. Jonas was one of the organizers of the event, as well as a Kinesiologist (B.Kin), manager, and exercise therapist at FSWC.

     Our team was honored to have the opportunity to be a part of this event, and we greatly look forward to engagement with Jonas, as well as FSWC, again in the future.
