Emily began her career as a licensed Associate Consultant and has spent more than 5 years in the financial services industry. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course level 1 and 2 and the Conduct and Practices Handbook course - she is currently pursuing the Wealth Management Essentials course as she works towards a role as Associate Advisor.
Originally from Camrose, Alberta, Emily has lived in various cities including Minot, North Dakota, Saskatoon, Lethbridge, and now Winnipeg. After earning her degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Winnipeg, she shifted into Wealth Management, working with a team focused on estate, retirement and insurance planning. There, she completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course and the Life License Qualification Program. As part of The Thomas Weath Management Group, Emily helps manage client relations including account oversight, documentation, trade execution, communication, and servicing.
Outside of her professional life , Emily is a former competitive dancer. She has over 20 years of experience in both performance and teaching where she spent time in New York City. Today she enjoys dancing now recreationally, as well as traveling and spending summers at her family cabin.
