Wendy has over 15 years’ experience in the finance industry and her client-centric focus brings strong relationship and portfolio management skills to her role on our team. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and leverages her analytical and holistic approach to manage wealth for her clients. Before joining RBC DS, Wendy was an Investment Counsellor at an international discretionary asset management firm for 8 years. She helped high-net-worth families with personalized investment solutions to match their needs and goals. She previously held progressive positions in Personal Banking at RBC Royal Bank. Earlier in her career, she worked on Structured Finance projects in Commercial & Institutional Banking with a leading Australian financial institution in Asia.
A graduate of Simon Fraser University, Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Wendy can serve clients in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She has traveled to over 300 cities in 45 countries and worked in Hong Kong, Milan, Beijing, and Singapore before returning to Vancouver. Outside of the office, she enjoys snowboarding, camping, road cycling, and spending as much time as possible outdoors with her family. She is a volunteer for the BC Children’s Hospital.
