John was born and raised in Toronto and moved to Sudbury at the  age of 16. After completing high school in Sudbury he went on to graduate from Laurentian University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1984. Prior to beginning his career in the investment industry John worked in the field of marketing and then as a contractor in Sudbury for more than 15 years. John joined RBC Dominion Securities in 1999 as an Investment Advisor. He focuses on providing comprehensive advice concerning all aspects of wealth management, including tax and estate planning, business succession, insurance and investment portfolios. 

John and his wife Carol Hartman, a successful lawyer and senior partner at Miller Maki in Sudbury, were married in 1988 and live just minutes from downtown on Ramsey Lake.

Jill is an associate who has been with RBC Dominion Securities since 2005 and has years of customer service experience. She is bilingual in English and French and has completed her Canadian Securities course as well as being securities licensed. Jill supports the team by providing overall client service, which includes assisting clients with their day-to-day account needs as well as managing client portfolios. 

 

Outside of the office, Jill is kept busy with her two active daughters and loves to cook and to spend time with friends and family.

Debby was born and raised in Sudbury and joined the firm in 1994. She successfully achieved her financial industry licensing in 1999 and has been working as a full-time associate ever since. She handles all administrative details and has the knowledge, ability and understanding to assist with all aspects of client service.
 
Debby and her husband Jerry have been married since 1981 and have two grown daughters and four grandchildren. They now have the freedom to travel to warmer climates at least once a year.
