Krista joined John‘s team in 2008 but has been a part of RBC Dominion Securities since 1989.
Krista grew up in Guelph but always dreamed of living in a big city. Her dream came true when she decided to attend college in Toronto. After obtaining her degree, her journey with RBC Dominion Securities began.
In 1989, Krista was hired as an RSP administrator at Dominion Securities. Her interest in financial markets lead to an opportunity to work as an associate with an established investment advisor in downtown Toronto. Krista enjoyed her role so much she decided to pursue numerous financial accreditations, to increase her level of knowledge and take on more responsibility. After 15 years, she decided to pursue her next challenge as a branch administrator at the RBC Dominion Securities branch at Yonge & Bloor in Toronto. Krista enjoyed understanding the business from a different perspective, but was always looking for another opportunity to work as an associate on a team. A few years later, in 2008, an opportunity to work with John and his team came up and Krista decided to leave her branch administrator role and become an associate again.
Krista plays an integral role on the team, with a focus on first-class client service and portfolio administration. Having the knowledge and ability to help John with many aspects of his business, she has become the primary contact for the majority of questions regarding client accounts.
Outside the office, Krista and her husband Chris enjoy bike riding, golf and travel. Krista has participated in a number of charitable events, including MS Bike, Manulife Ride for Heart and The Ride to Conquer Cancer.
