Elie first joined RBC in 2019 as a client advisor. This position has allowed him to strengthen his expertise in customer service, and establish long-term relationships with clients and colleagues. As a graduate from John Molson School of Business with a major in Finance, he has always developed a passion and curiosity for the investment world. This has led him to join the Wealth Management team in 2021, where he is offered the opportunity to put his knowledge into practice.
He is currently a CFA chartholder, on top of having successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practice Handbook Course, which will serve as an asset to his career.
Elie’s hobbies include playing sports, swimming and spending time with friends and family. Whenever he has some quality time, he loves spending it playing with his dog, Simba.
A big inspiration for Elie and a person he looks up to is LeBron James. LeBron James struggled early on in his life not only from poverty but lack of opportunity. Elie learned that through perseverance and most importantly, hard work, you can achieve any obstacle that is put in front of you regardless of your circumstance. That is a mindset Elie carries not only after several years of playing basket-ball but in his everyday life.
