Jay is a life time resident of Durham Region and has been serving clients at RBC Dominion Securities for nearly 25 years. He has served on the boards of Ajax-Pickering Hospital Foundation, Durham Region United Way and the Station Gallery. Jay is life insurance licensed, and has completed not only his Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, but also his Certified Professional Consultant Wealth Planner and Chartered Planner. He most recently completed his Family Enterprise Advisor designation through UBC's Sauder School of Business to give him a broader understanding of how family business works. Jay lives in Brooklin with his wife, Angela, and his four sons who are very busy with soccer, lacrosse, skiing, golfing and much more!

She is adept at addressing all varieties of client needs in a timely and efficient manner. Natalie studied Literature and Psychology at York University and is securities-licensed. She lives in North Oshawa with her husband and two daughters.

Mark Skeggs

As a Business Owner Specialist, Mark works with Jay to explore the tax, estate, succession and retirement planning issues you encounter as a business owner.

Prior to joining RBC, Mark spent over 14 years in the Private Company Services tax group of a Big 4 accounting firm in Toronto. Acting as a trusted business advisor for Ultra High Net Worth families, Mark was responsible for the creation and implementation of effective strategies for wealth preservation and accumulation in the context of tax, estate and succession planning for owner-managers of private companies, senior executives of public companies and professional athletes.

Mark is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, and a Trust and Estate Practitioner. He has completed the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Advance Certificate in Family Business Advising, all three levels of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course, as well as the Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business Course and the Corporate Reorganizations Course. Mark has served as Chair of the Board of Evaluators for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and Treasurer for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ontario. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Queen’s University.

Ariel graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Business Administration in 1992 and from the Faculty of Law in 1994 where he served on the editorial board of the Law Review. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1996. Prior to joining RBC, Ariel spent 5 year teaching Real Estate Law and Estate Law at La Cit Collegiale in Ottawa. For the previous 12 years, Ariel held several positions at a major trust company, culminating in the role of Trust Manager.

Ariel is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practicioners. His significan practical experience in estate planning and administration allows him to offer valuable guidance during the creation of your estate plan.
