We know wealth management. We know you even better.
“Everyone has a different story. Everyone has different things that are important to them. And everyone deserves to be understood on their own terms.”
Jason believes that to truly understand someone, we must have a strong relationship with them. That’s why his core purpose – what he believes above all, as a husband, father and wealth advisor – is this: Relationships are the most important thing in the world.
Clients volunteer that his wealth management knowledge, after a more-than 15-year career, multiple designations and extensive ongoing training, is very strong – but that it actually isn’t the most important thing to them. Instead, it’s that he knows them so well.
Says Tessa: “He is relationship-based, and that for me is really important. He is invested in who you are as a person.” Or Troy and Lori: “He knows the market very well, but he also knows us very well, regarding what we are comfortable investing in and our risk level. We are never just a number to him.”
For Jason, it’s about looking at every scenario through clients' eyes: “I love partnering with them, planning and strategizing for future goals, and am proud to work with them through life events – the happy ones and the difficult ones.”
That partnership is the only way he can deliver on his mission: With every interaction, we strive to increase our clients’ confidence in their financial future, and then fulfill his vision: Lifelong financial security for you and your family.
Jason and his wife were born and raised in Calgary. “We both love people,” he says. They also love to camp in summer with their children – and knowing that every interaction counts with family and clients alike, Jason maintains his health and fitness by running (he’s done three marathons), cycling and triathlons.
With trademark humility and humour, he contends: “Continuous improvement is always something to strive for. If marriage and kids don’t teach you that, I don’t know what would.”
