Jacky has two decades of experience in the financial services industry and joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2016. Knowing that building a successful future requires strategic, thoughtful planning, he takes the time to assess each client’s unique circumstances to help individuals, families, and business owners meet their needs and achieve their goals.
What Jacky enjoys most is building trusting relationships with clients as he helps them improve their financial well-being. His experience allows him to offer sound advice and find the ideal solutions for their needs. A firm believer in “Opportunities are for those who are prepared,” Jacky helps his clients anticipate and navigate any unexpected detours on their path to success.
His career started in the mortgage and loan department of HSBC, which provided Jacky with an invaluable understanding of lending fundamentals. Jacky soon took on progressive roles, where he learned about the intricacies of lending policies, procedures, compliance, administration, and enforcement. With a desire to help clients on a more personal level, he became a Personal Account Manager in 2004. Jacky moved to RBC Royal Bank in 2008 as a Financial Planner before joining RBC Dominion Securities.
Jacky earned a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Victoria and a Master of Economics from Simon Fraser University. He has also obtained the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) and Charter Investment Management (CIM) designations from the Canadian Securities Institute.
