This night was more than just a gathering; it was a celebration of our community’s spirit, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the children who need us the most.
A Night to Remember
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Okanagan Lake at the breathtaking O'Rourke Family Estate, over 340 philanthropists from our community gathered for an evening that will be etched in our memories forever. It was a night filled with laughter, love, and a shared vision to support the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) of Kelowna.
Our culinary journey was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the talents of chefs Rod Butters, Jeremy Tucker, and Sandrine Raffault. Their creations were not just food; they were a testament to the richness and diversity of our local cuisine. Paired with stunning vineyard views, every moment was a feast for the senses.

A Community's Generosity
The true star of the evening, however, was the overwhelming support for the CYAC. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $2.5 million! These funds will go directly towards enhancing the critical services provided by the CYAC, including expanding the Resilient Families program and creating a new sensory room to support children impacted by trauma.
One initiative particularly close to my heart is the establishment of an on-site facility dog program. With $350,000 in multiyear funding, we will be able to provide children with the comfort and support of a trained facility dog, making a profound difference in their healing journey.

Music That Touched Our Hearts
The evening’s magic was amplified by the phenomenal performances of The Tenors and trumpeter Jens Lindemann. Their music echoed through the night, reminding us of the universal language of compassion and unity. It was a celebration not just of what we can give, but of what we can achieve together.
