As a proud recipient of the 2023 RBC Global Citizen Award, my journey to the Bahamas to meet my fellow nominees was nothing short of transformative. It was a profound reminder of the impact we can collectively make on a global scale.

What struck me most was the unity among my RBC colleagues from around the world. Coming together with like-minded individuals who share a passion for making a difference created a powerful synergy. We collaborated seamlessly, each bringing unique perspectives and skills to contribute to the greater good.

The RBC group volunteer opportunities with the Agriculture Development Organization and the Bahamas National Trust was insightful and meaningful to the Bahamian community.

Overall the experience was humbling, to say the least. It reminded me that privilege comes with a responsibility to uplift others. The impact of our collective efforts went beyond monetary donations; it extended to creating lasting relationships and fostering a sense of hope in the communities we touch. I can’t wait to see what we all accomplish next!
