It’s a new year, and although it may not look that different from 2020 so far, we are looking forward to making the most of 2021!
Rhonda – Time to lace up the runners again
Along with riding her Peloton bike, Rhonda is lacing up her runners again, as she’s training for a 10-kilometer run in 2021.
Kuan – Back on the bike
Kuan is looking forward to buying a bicycle and getting back on his bike to enjoy the trails and all the scenery that the Okanagan has to offer.
Darren – Lean, mean golfing machine
Darren is working towards his own “10 and 10” – losing 10 pounds and shaving 10 shots off his golf game.
Rossi – Crushing distance goals for 2021
Rossi’s new year’s resolution is to enjoy 2021 in lengthy distances – she’s vowed to run 2021 kilometers and cycle 2021 miles this year.
Pia – Fresh air & putting on some miles
Pia is excited to step away from her desk at lunch to enjoy a walk outside 3–4 days a week.
Kait – Good for the body and the budget
Kait is focusing on bringing her lunch to the office and eating less takeout overall this year.
Cynthia – Tip-top shape by the time that team sports resume
While COVID has paused all indoor and / or close-contact sports for the time being, Cynthia has had to find a new outlet to reduce stress and stay healthy. With that goal in mind, she purchased a rowing machine and has committed to using it 3–4 times a week. Her achievements so far include building the endurance and concentration to row 10 kilometers in a single sitting without getting bored! She looks forward to participating in ultimate Frisbee, volleyball and curling in the future, and hopes to be in tip-top shape when that time comes around.
Marnie – Sleep is good for your health
We all can appreciate the difference that a good night’s sleep can make. Marnie’s new year’s resolution is to improve her sleep by creating a more restful night routine and sticking to a sleep schedule.
Pamela – Taking in the sights and smells
Pam is making an effort to get outside every day and participate in something active.
