Heather has over 20 years’ experience in the investment industry and has been working with individual private clients since 2017. Before that, she spent the bulk of her career with an investment management firm in Calgary where she was lead portfolio manager for a suite of Canadian fixed income mutual funds and segregated portfolios with assets under management of approximately $5 billion.
Heather works with professionals and their families who are outwardly financially successful, yet measure their personal success by living a life of significance, adding value intentionally to others on a consistent basis.
Her practice is built upon three core tenets:
- Money is emotional
- Compassion is critical
- The second best time to plant a tree is today
Heather is a CFA charterholder and earned a Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina. She became a director on the CFA Society Calgary board in 2020 and currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Outreach and Advocacy Committee.
