At Grey Wealth Partners, taking care of your wealth is our life’s work. We rely on our vast and varied experience to deliver a truly flexible and completely exceptional client experience.
Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor
“Being a family business within Canada’s largest bank gives us an incredibly unique perspective,” says Chris. Chris’s father, Jim Grey, had been in the industry for over 20 years when he encouraged Chris to join his team and, fittingly, focus on business succession planning. Today, Chris proudly maintains his father’s legacy as Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor and one of our team’s lead advisors.
With over a decade of commercial and retail banking experience, Chris joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2001. Building on his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Alberta, Chris became a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and a Financial Management Advisor (FMA).
Chris works with Bruce and the rest of our team to help our clients achieve their financial goals. He leads our Private Investment Management (PIM) offering, which allows him to create a truly customizable portfolio experience for our clients. Despite changes in the industry, Chris’s number one priority is safeguarding his clients’ wealth – and it’s a responsibility he takes very seriously. “We’re managing more than just wealth. We’re managing families’ structures and helping them succeed,” he says.
Chris, his wife, Lesley, and their two daughters live in Edmonton. He enjoys travelling with his family and considers himself a huge history buff – historical cities like Rome and London are at the top of his travel list.
Investment & Wealth Advisor
For Bruce, exceptional client service can be distilled into two things: listening and providing solutions. “To give our clients the best advice, we need to really know them,” he says. “It’s important to recognize that wealth is about real human experiences.” That’s why consistent communication with clients – understanding their family, ambitions, and values – is a key pillar of Bruce’s approach.
Growing up, Bruce wanted to be a dentist and completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta. In 1996, he joined the financial industry as a summer student, working his way up to branch manager and eventually Investment and Wealth Advisor. Along the way, he was able to learn from Jim Grey, whom he considers “one of the best in the business.”
Today, Bruce is proud to co-lead our practice with Jim’s son, Chris. Their complementary skill sets and dynamic mind sets make them the perfect match. “We’re very different as individuals. He’s city, I’m country. He’s analytical, I’m a planner. But, that’s part of what makes this partnership work so well,” Bruce says.
Bruce and his wife, Oksana, live in Edmonton with their daughter and son. As someone who values spending time with his family, Bruce enjoys supporting his children’s extracurricular activities – dance and football – as well as watching sporting events.
“I love building relationships with my clients,” says Lyndell. “Over the last 20 years, I’ve seen how our clients’ needs have evolved – and how our services and solutions have evolved alongside them.” Having worked her way up from summer student to Senior Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor, Lyndell remains passionate about providing hands-on wealth management for clients.
Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities in 2017 – to work with brother Chris – Lyndell gained over 15 years of extensive experience in the industry and worked as a Financial Planner. In addition to her Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) degree from the University of Alberta, Lyndell has earned her Professional Financial Planning (PFP) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designations.
Always looking for ways to expand her knowledge and, in turn, improve our service to clients, Lyndell supports our Private Investment Management service, which is governed by strict standards for education, experience, and assets under administration.
Lyndell is a proud parent to her young son. In her free time, she enjoys travelling (Australia being among one of her top destinations), scuba diving, and exploring the great outdoors.
Associate Advisor
“There’s no better feeling than when a client tells you that they would not be where they are today without your help,” says Wendy. From a young age, Wendy had a desire to help others. She dreamed of becoming a doctor, but her inability to dissect a frog in her Grade 9 science class thwarted her medical career aspirations.
After that fateful day, Wendy’s career took a different, but equally rewarding, turn. As Associate Advisor at Grey Wealth Partners, Wendy takes great pride in listening to her clients, diagnosing issues, and prescribing advice and solutions. “I see myself as the ‘practitioner’ I always wanted to be, just in the world of finance instead of medicine,” she says.
Wendy leverages over 30 years of in-depth industry experience to provide essential support for both Lyndell and our clients. Having completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and earned her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, Wendy offers a unique, full-scope perspective to managing our clients’ wealth. She and Lyndell form a unique, symbiotic partnership, all to our clients’ advantage.
Wendy enjoys baking, gardening, and going on road-tripping adventures with her husband, Wayne, in their RV.
Associate Wealth Advisor
“I’ve worked for other financial firms, but what drew me back to RBC Dominion Securities was the family aspect of Grey Wealth Partners – it’s so much more than working with regular colleagues,” says Laurel. “I’ve had the privilege of seeing everyone’s stories unfold since I started working here with Chris and Lyndell’s father, Jim, as lead advisor.”
As a highly valued and longstanding member of the team, Laurel is our behind-the-scenes mastermind. She oversees the wealth management process, spearheads business development, and finds innovative ways to connect with our clients. Known for her creative flair, Laurel plays an integral role in our team’s overall operation.
Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities in 2004, Laurel completed her Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) degree, with a major in marketing, at the University of Alberta.
Outside the office, Laurel enjoys exploring other creative outlets like interior decorating and gardening. She loves spending time with her kids, playing sports, and travelling.

“Numbers have always intrigued me,” Stacy says. Following this interest, she studied accounting at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology before she started her career in the industry in 1998. After working her way up to Associate at another major financial institution, Stacy brought her adaptive mindset and organizational skills to RBC Dominion Securities in 2002.
As an Associate, Stacy ensures our clients receive a seamless, personalized service. Committed to enhancing her industry knowledge, Stacy has completed the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course as well as RBC’s Wealth Management for Associates Training program.
In her off hours, Stacy loves spending time outdoors, either gardening or going for walks. She also enjoys cooking, especially baking with her children.

Marnie has nearly 20 years of experience in our industry, and has been a valued member of RBC Dominion Securities since 2019. Having worked her way up, advancing her education along the way, today Marnie is an Associate who leans on her wealth of knowledge to assist both colleagues and clients. “I really enjoy keeping everyone on track, whether that means coaching clients through online setup or following up on important items,” she says. “Being organized and efficient really puts our clients at ease.”
In her spare time, Marnie and her husband like to keep active, whether that means going for daily walks, golfing, camping, or playing pickleball.
Assistant
After earning his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) degree, with a major in accounting, from McEwan University, James began his career in financial services. With experience from different financial institutions under his belt, James joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2021.
As an Assistant, James provides essential support for our team in an administrative capacity by facilitating account openings, processing complex paperwork, and ensuring that all records are up to date. “There’s so much incredible opportunity at RBC,” James says, and he is excited to continue enhancing his skills with professional development.
Though he was born in Hamilton, James was raised in Edmonton and he lived in Vancouver for a short time. James enjoys skiing and building mechanical keyboards, and one of his greatest passions is sharing photos of his French bulldog, a rescue named Louie.
