With the recent volatility in the market it is good to take time and to stop and try and get a perspective on what we are going through.  Most recently over the last two years we have seen an increase in the volatility in the stock market on a day to day basis however; for most of our investors when we look at the annualized returns on their portfolios they have been really good.  This ARTICLE from RBC Global Asset Management illustrates that almost every year there is some form of a negative economic, financial or political event.  Through all these events our clients that have stayed focused, on their long term financial plans we have put in place, have continued to earn positive rates of return on an annual basis.
