Robyn, together with your primary RBC advisor, helps you explore succession, tax, retirement and estate planning issues you face as a high-net-worth client.
Prior to joining RBC, Robyn acquired her expertise in estates, trusts and succession planning in both private practice and with a major trust company, practicing law in Toronto for 8 years with an emphasis on trusts, estates, succession, planning for incapacity and charities law, and as a will and estate consultant for a well-known Canadian trust company. In 2001, Robyn joined RBC, assisting clients with their overall tax and estate planning, and in 2011, assumed her present position, specializing in assisting high-net-worth clients with their succession, tax, retirement and estate planning.
Robyn obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall in 1991, and she was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1993. She has completed her in-depth tax courses, levels 1 and 2, as well as the Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner Managed Business Course and the Corporate Reorganizations Course. She has co-authored two books, “Drafting Wills in Ontario: A Lawyer’s Practical Guide” and “Drafting Wills in Canada: A Lawyer’s Practical Guide”.
In addition, Robyn was an instructor at the Estate and Trust Bar Admission Course at the Law Society of Upper Canada.She is an active member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has obtained the STEP Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising.
Daniel Ugolini, F.Pl., CPA, CFP

Daniel holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation with CPA Ontario, the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation with FP Canada, and a Financial Planning (F.Pl.) designation with the Institut Québecois de Planification Financière (IQPF) in Quebec. He received his Bachelor of Commerce and graduate diploma in Accountancy from Concordia University in Montreal. He has also completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course. Daniel has over 35 years of progressive experience in accounting, taxation and the financial services industry. He has acquired extensive experience in corporate and personal taxation and providing wealth planning to high-networth families and business owners. Daniel’s role is to work with and support your advisor in preparing and presenting comprehensive Compass Financial Plans.
Vanessa is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and has completed all levels of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s In-Depth Tax Courses. She holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia.
Prior to joining RBC, Vanessa had 10 years of experience in public practice. As a tax manager in one of the leading global accounting firms, Vanessa specialized in providing tax solutions to a wide range of clients and industries. Her experience includes corporate restructuring and business succession planning for private business owners, as well as estate planning and cross-border tax for high-net-worth families.
Vanessa is fluent in Mandarin and English.
Vanessa’s role is to work with and support your advisor in preparing and presenting your Compass Financial Plan and to identify and assess any related financial and tax planning concerns you might have.

Daniela obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 2010 and her LL.B. from the City University of London in 2013. Daniela completed her articles at a small boutique litigation firm before being called to the Bar in 2015.
Prior to joining RBC, Daniela practiced in the area of Wills, Estates and Trusts in law firms ranging in size from small to mid-size. She advised clients at all stages of succession matters including assisting with estate and succession planning, estate administration and estate and fiduciary litigation. As part of her estate and succession planning practice, Daniela also assisted business-owner clients with corporate reorganizations, including estate freezes. In addition, she assisted estate trustees with navigating the complex world of administering estates, as well as assisted clients with guardianship applications and various estate and fiduciary disputes.

As a Senior Trust Advisor, Manish Gosrani is responsible for managing a complex book of accounts. He works with individuals, families and businesses throughout Toronto and the GTA to provide customized estate, trust and incapacity solutions.

Manish has more than 25 years of wealth management experience in Canada and the UK. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree (LL.B), is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and is working towards his Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation to further strengthen his industry knowledge and expertise.
Manish has a deep understanding of priorities and needs of wealth advisors and delivers well balanced advice by staying abreast of product, industry, investment, tax and legislative developments.
