Over the last 25 years, Jessica has cultivated this important skill while building her operational and analytical expertise. As an experienced portfolio manager and financial planner, and one of our team’s leaders, Jessica is known for her compassionate, decisive, and honest approach to wealth management.
Jessica’s process is deeply rooted in understanding the individual wealth needs of her clients and their families. Recognizing that every client has unique goals, timelines, family dynamics, and priorities, she takes the time to listen, understand, and then come up with a flexible plan that meets their long-term aspirations.
Having previously worked in senior management for various investment firms, and as an assistant branch manager for RBC Dominion Securities’ London branch, Jessica has a sophisticated, well-rounded knowledge of the many aspects of wealth management.
With a bachelor in sociology from Western University, Jessica has continued to enhance her education by completing the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) program and achieving the esteemed Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
When she’s not in the office, Jessica likes to stay active, whether that’s walking her two golden retrievers (Clarke and Oscar), going for a run, or getting involved in her local community. She is currently a board member for Children's Aid Society London and Middllesex.
Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor
With a profound passion for guiding both individuals and organizations toward realizing their complete portfolio and planning potential, Eric brings over 20 years of financial experience to his role as a senior portfolio manager and investment advisor for Fickling Janitis Thomas Wealth. In his current capacity as a named partner with our team, Eric plays a pivotal part in guiding our clients toward informed financial decisions. His ability to synthesize historical patterns and trends into actionable insights is a testament to his analytical prowess, which is complemented by his innate ability to connect with our clients on a personal level.
Throughout Eric’s career, which has taken him from branch management to commercial banking and everything in between, Eric has remained steadfastly loyal to RBC, cultivating expertise and insights that only such dedication can yield. He holds a dual degree in Economics and History from the University of Western Ontario and is committed to continual education.
Outside of work, Eric and his wife, Monica, enjoy travelling, particularly to the Southwestern United States for a little sunshine. During summer weekends, he can be found struggling at the golf course or enjoying the peace of Northern Ontario – as he puts it, he’s just as comfortable in his daily business suit as he is paddling a canoe on the French River.

Carol's success lies in her commitment to go above and beyond. Her devotion to recognizing and supporting her client’s hopes and dreams are one of her greatest admiration. Her caring nature is reflected in the time she invests in each individual client. Often this involves supporting a business owner on their aspirations, working with clients as they move closer to retirement, or helping women take charge of their financial future and that's what client’s love most about her.
Since joining RBC Dominion Securities in 1997, Carol has acquired extensive knowledge in the fields of financial planning, insurance and wealth management. Life Insurance licensed, she holds a designation as a Financial Management Advisor (FMA). In addition a Chartered International Wealth Manager (CIWM), and a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM).
Carol counsels our clients on complex management issues beyond the scope of basic financial planning. An advocate for Total Wealth Management - from investment advice and financial planning, to insurance and legacy creation, she is especially adept at bringing imaginative solutions to the corrosive effects of taxes. A specialist in wealth management for women – Carol attends several conferences each year to expand her knowledge – she is especially sensitive to women's unique and distinctive needs and expectations in an advisor.
Committed to the community, Carol is on the committee for LHSC Trauma Golf tournament and recently has taken on raising funds for LHSC FEMAP, Bring It, with Make A Wish, and she supports World Vision – sponsoring a child in Columbia. In addition, Carol is a monthly contributor to the World Wildlife Federation, the Canada Wildlife Federation, and the United Way.
Away from the office, Carol spends time with family and friends. She engages in regular physical fitness, including Pilates and enjoys taking long walks with her dogs– Dani & Indi
Associate Wealth Advisor & Financial Planner
As Fickling Janitis Thomas Wealth’s in-house financial planner, Gary leverages his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation to provide our clients with advice, support, and guidance to help them reach their financial goals. He is responsible for guiding clients through all of their “milestone moments,” such as retirement or the sale of a business, with compassion and care.
Prior to joining our team, Gary was a District Vice President with one of the world’s largest mutual fund companies and a leading provider of financial services in Canada. In this role, Gary was responsible for managing over $1.3 billion in the London/Sarnia area and overseeing a small team of sales professionals who provided consultation on financial products, market opportunities, and investment strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Administration from the University of Western Ontario.
gary weatherwGary is an avid traveller and family man. Outside the office, he is a volunteer hockey coach and lives with his wife, Lianne, and their children, Brooke and Ryan, in Toronto’s west end.
Associate Advisor
“There’s no better feeling than knowing that a client will be able to meet all of their goals with your financial plan,” says Colin. As an associate advisor, Colin facilitates detailed financial planning and client onboarding. Known for being personable, proficient, and genuine, he prides himself on providing exceptional client service.
Although Colin didn’t initially plan to pursue a career in financial services, what he learned along the way has undeniably shaped the way he approaches wealth. After graduating from the University of Windsor, he aspired to become a lawyer, but unexpectedly found himself redirected. Instead, he paid his way through Fanshawe College’s Professional Financial Services program, inspiring him to help other students dealing with student debt.
Since joining the team in 2017, Colin has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) Course, and has obtained the Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) designation.
Colin grew up just outside of Windsor and now resides in London. In his off time, he enjoys being active. He is passionate about all sports, particularly football, volleyball, and golf.
Associate Investment Advisor
Vann brings over two decades of experience to her role as an associate investment advisor at Fickling Janitis Thomas Wealth. As one of our team’s four relationship managers, she serves a select group of clients – conducting reviews, processing requests, and answering questions. Vann is a self-described “people person” and loves being able to provide clients with peace of mind through her role.
Before joining the team, Vann spent 11 years working as a client relationship associate at another leading bank and has also previously worked as an investment advisor assistant. She is a graduate of Fanshawe College’s financial services program and has completed several industry courses, including the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course. Vann also holds a certificate in Advanced Investment Strategies.
vannOutside of work, Vann can often be found at the rink, watching her teenage son play hockey. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, skiing, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
Timea grew up believing that, we all need to seek passion in our lives. Finding something that we are passionate about, motivates and moves us towards our goals or what we define as personal success and happiness. Timea’s success is built upon helping her clients reach their ultimate financial aspirations. Whether it is an early retirement that has been planned since the first day of work, saving for that cottage by the lake, leaving a legacy behind for their children and grandchildren or helping a business owner find confidence in building and transitioning to the next generation. Timea’s level of passion for her work has allowed many clients reach their goals with ease.
Before joining RBC Dominion Securities, Timea worked in a diverse banking industry for over 17 years. She has experience in a variety of advice and leadership roles. Timea brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise from banking and insurance industry. Timea has her Life Insurance license, and can assist in complex client plans. Timea continues to challenge herself by learning something new every day. She is actively working on her B.M.O. S. (Business Management and Organizational Studies) at Western University, where she will earn a degree in Finance.
Being a positive and passionate individual, you will find her involved in charities such as Children’s Health Foundation, by giving back to the community.
When Timea is away from the office, she enjoys, exercising, spending time with her family and friends and traveling.
Shin started at RBC Dominion Securities in 2009, working within the original team establishing long term relationships with clients over the years. She has developed proficient knowledge in account administration and management to assist in various clients questions and requests.
Shin also holds her Canadian Securities Courses (CSC) to execute trades and she also successfully completed the Wealth Management Essentials license, which provides a fundamental base on financial planning and general portfolio management. Shin supports Carol in managing the discretionary portfolio program at Dominion Securities (Private Investment Management - PIM).
Shin has a degree in Administrative & Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario, and Financial Planning Services diploma from Fanshawe College.
Shin supports the local London Humane Society, enjoys hiking locally and abroad, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

“It really means a lot to me to be able to help others navigate a very daunting industry and give them the peace of mind that their finances are in the most capable of hands,” says Sophie. As an administrative assistant, Sophie ensures that our team’s process is as streamlined as possible. Often the first point of contact for client inquiries, Sophie vows that if she can’t find the answer, she’ll find the person on the team who can.
Prior to joining the financial industry in 2022, Sophie gained invaluable customer service experience as a server, where she learned just how much she loves working with people. “Serving has taught me to always uphold my very best level of service to customers and clients alike, and always strive to improve it,” she says.
Today, she enjoys helping our lead advisors grow their business by taking care of all the little details and providing outstanding client service. Building on her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University, Sophie has since completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
Having grown up in London, Sophie saw firsthand how her parents got involved in the community as the owners of a small business: a hair salon called Chez Cheveux, located on Richmond Row. This instilled in her the importance of financial literacy as well as the importance of buying and shopping local. In addition, Sophie is a strong advocate for mental health and fighting against homelessness.
Tyler joins us from Fidelity Investments, bringing a strong educational background and a passion for finance. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier University, demonstrating his expertise in both business and quantitative analysis. Additionally, Tyler has recently completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) certifications, further enhancing his knowledge of the financial industry.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests. He is an avid cook, golfer, and baseball player, always looking for opportunities to stay active and engage in friendly competition. Tyler also values spending quality time with friends and family, cherishing these moments of connection and camaraderie. As a dedicated sports fan, he eagerly supports the Toronto Maple Leafs, hoping to witness the end of their nearly 60-year championship drought.
Administrative Assistant
With Hope recently joining the industry in early 2025, she brings a strong enthusiasm for her role. As an Administrative Assistant, Hope plays an essential role in keeping our team organized by ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Hope strives to deliver the highest standard of support in everything she does.
Hope holds a Business Human Resources Certificate from Fanshawe College and is in the process of obtaining the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
