RBC Economics has written a new piece entitled, Small Business, Big Pivot which dives into the world of small companies in Canada and what it’s going to take for many of them to survive. The report rolls out a five-point plan that governments and business groups can use to assist this large sector of our economy, in shifting attitudes and utilizing creative ways to change their thinking and adopt new strategies.

You can read the report here, as well as Neil McLaughlin’s op-ed in today’s Globe and Mail, here. There is also a special RBC Disruptors podcast on the topic, featuring the stories of four innovative entrepreneurs along with Lori Darlington, vice-president of small business, here.

As always, if you have any questions or comments, please send them to me.
