The subject of photography is near and dear to my heart and so it was with great interest that I listened to the latest episode in the RBC Disruptors podcast. To listen, click here.
John Stackhouse interviews world-renowned Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky and his business partner/gaming expert, Vikas Gupta. Ed is best known for his large format photographs of industrial landscapes. You also might know him from the 2007 documentary Manufactured Landscapes and more recently, Anthropocene: The Human Epoch.
In this in-depth chat, they discuss how we can use technology to enhance the human experience in a post-COVID society. What is “Photography 3.0”? It’s 3-D immersive, interactive, transformational and Canada has a special role to play in this technology.
Enjoy and as always, please reach out if you have any comments or questions.
