Edward has worked in the investment industry in Toronto’s downtown core for 23 years, 15 of which have been spent in senior management and leadership roles with large institutional and retail investment management firms.
His success in managing investment specialist teams and strategic corporate relationships across Canada is evidenced by multiple awards and a significant record of success building multi-billion dollar lines of business.
Growing up in southern Ontario, Edward witnessed the multitude of challenges of running a family business. His family was always looking to strike a balance between uncertain revenues and input costs, along with their financial planning for the future. By taking an active role in their family business, the merits of hard work and financial discipline were hard wired into Edward’s core values and beliefs.
Edward still holds many ties to the southern Ontario area and maintains many strong relationships and close ties with family, friends and the agricultural community there.
Edward calls midtown Toronto home, where he has lived for over 25 years. Edward is active in the community taking part in many community events.
Outside of the office, Edward and his spouse Karen keep busy with their two daughters. In addition to supporting their children in all their various academic pursuits, they enjoy skiing, kayaking and spending time with family and friends at the lake in the Haliburton Highlands.
In his spare time, Edward is dedicated to increasing financial literacy among students of all ages. Edward has been a guest speaker at numerous universities and colleges and continues to work diligently to help prepare students for their financial future.
