The Paradox of Distance

This past month of working remotely has brought us closer, deepened our sense of gratitude and tested our agility as we grew our team.

Team Rudisuela from home

We wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to our clients. We are living through incredibly unique and uncertain times and we appreciate you being with us for the ride. Your trust in us is not something that we take lightly or for granted.

We are humbled by our conversations with each of you, across all sectors and how you are continuing to adapt. We are seeing first-hand what resilience looks like. Watching our business owner and institutional clients pivot in the face of extreme obstacles has been inspiring. We would also like to acknowledge a special gratitude and deep respect for those of you working on the frontlines of healthcare. Broadly, the positivity and perspective shared by many of you as you took steps to self-isolate was a welcome reminder of basic human goodness in a time of dark headlines.

We feel fortunate to be backed by a firm that is leaning into this crisis and looking for ways to learn, grow and come out stronger. Our team is working remotely and securely and we remain committed to working hard for you. “Every success story is a tale of constant adaptation, revision and change~ Richard Branson.

Finally, we want to take this opportunity to introduce our newest team member. Katherine (Kat) Murillo joined us in February just in time for RRSP season - and for all her formal training to be cancelled. If it’s true that a person’s character is revealed when pressure is applied, we are indeed lucky to have her with us. Kat has taken everything in stride with grace and humour and is doing a fantastic job managing our world on an administrative level.

From our remote offices to yours - stay safe, stay strong and stay in touch!
