The Great Big Dig for the IWK is an annual event that raises funds for our very own IWK Health Centre. The fundraiser has raised over 3.5 million dollars since it began and delivers an amazing night out each year with live entertainment, speakers and an impressive auction. 

I am an Executive Committee Member of the Great Big Dig and every year I am moved by the generosity of our community and the volunteers who make the event possible. The more than $500,000 raised this year is going towards the purchase of an incredible piece of machinery used during open heart surgeries.

A fun night among generous community members with the end result being improved medical care in the Maritimes. It's a feel good event for sure.
