As Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor, Craig leads a full-service wealth management practice. Craig’s clients are individuals and businesses that are serious about accumulating and preserving wealth.
Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Craig worked in institutional equity research for one of Canada’s largest investment banks, where he was part of a team that performed investment analysis used to advise Canadian, US and international institutional investors. In this role, Craig helped produce research that was recognized by Thomson Reuters StarMine Analyst Awards for top stock picking and earnings estimation accuracy. Craig began his financial services career in retail banking at another institution, where he was awarded the top performance recognition award and later became a branch manager of two retail bank locations.
Craig has a degree in economics from Queen’s University, where he also played varsity football. He later played professional football in Europe. Craig is a CFA Charterholder, a designation of peerless distinction in the investment industry that is widely regarded for its rigorous focus on investment knowledge, analytical skill and ethical standards. Craig has also completed significant independent coursework, including 11 courses offered through the Canadian Securities Institute.
Craig lives in downtown Toronto with his wife Jennifer and his son Jack. Outside of work, he coaches high school football at Upper Canada College and competes in Canadian Masters Track and Field events. Craig has volunteered for the Toronto CFA Society, where he helped develop topical educational events centered on equity investing. Craig is a past recipient of the Toronto Police Services Community Member Award and is a member of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
