When I say meditation, what comes to your mind?

For me,

running is a form of moving meditation.

A rhythm,

a flow,

a way to quiet the noise.

Off the road, I practice meditation.

Emphasis on practice.

My meditations are usually guided, usually imperfect.

Recently, I came across this description: “Meditation is the activity of observing one’s own mind.”

Wow.

That’s profound.

Not emptying the mind.

Not controlling it.

Just observing.
