What was the last goal you set - for yourself?

Last month,

I set out to run 50 km.

At the end of the month,

I accomplished that goal…

(And, may I add, with three days to spare in the month!)

It’s true…

Running is my moving meditation.

However, I had been logging fewer total runs while incorporating more strength training, yoga and rest into my regime.

So I had been running less.

Oh my.

It feels so good to lace up more - again.

So,

In January,

I think I will up the ante.

To 60 km.

What about you - Self Made Nation?

When was the last time you set a goal for yourself?

Do you get to the goal?

Did you change your mind?

Did you come in shy of it?

What did you learn from the experience?

Give it some thought.

It’s never too early to plan your cash-rich exit

My name is Colleen-O’Connell-Campbell and I help entrepreneurs plan cash rich exits from their business, when they are ready. If you’re looking for more information on planning strategies for your business that will get you to a cash-rich exit in 3-10 years, I’d love to have a chat.

Please help me get the ‘running’ word out?

This column is a tribute to the fact I find running helps me make better decisions. (and music is my constant companion as I run!!)

No matter how hard a run may be, I always feel inspired afterwards.

So I’m sharing my thoughts in this bi-weekly series called ‘Running Reflections’.

If you can think of a peer who might appreciate a short piece of content that delivers core business lessons in a lateral thinking format, I would be grateful for an introduction.

TTFN (ta-ta for now)
